The institute was started in the year 1956 by founder director Yogacharya Sri. M.K Raman Master an ardent practitioner of yoga and a great visionary. Being the founder Director he is the head of the entire establishments of Kavilbhavan. He is the guiding spirit behind the entire activities of the institute. The experience and expertise gained by him through years of penance, practice and experiments is the greatest asset of the center which is invaluable.
