BACKWATER BIKING

Traditional Kerala house boat (Kettuvallam) ride is available at Kottapuram; just 5 km away from the center. The ride starts from the sea mouth moving through the backwaters and river offering breathtaking panoramic view of the pristine nature. The occupants are left spell bound by the tranquility of the backwaters while riding the house boat.

BEKAL FORT

10 kms north of Neleshwar lies the internationally famous special tourist center selected by the Govt. of India. The snow white beach adds to the attraction of this seventeenth centaury fort built by Ikkeri Naikkar.

These are the two spiritual centers founded by Swamy Ramdas and Swamy Nityanada situated 9 kms north of Neleshwar at Kanhangad; both these centers attract lot of devotees from all over the country and abroad.
